Lots of variants of speed, direction to give you motion options in the stereo track. I sampled the bell tree at our church. After seeing how much the instrument costs at the music store, i opted to not buy one. The long version of this moves from left to right, and has the single sample repeat twice. So it begins on the left, has a delayed start in the center, then finally a third repeat starts on the right. Add liberal amounts of reverb, to taste. Fortunately i don't live nearby, but not far from home there is a factory that manufactures motorhomes, that's the atmosphere, made of machines, hammer noise blowers and all kinds of activity.

Recording during a strong autumn storm, with heavy rain, in a large garden, surrounded by big pine trees. The wind was so strong, that i had a fear that one of the branches of the pines could snap and fall on me. The recording is a 32bit float, 48khz ms-stereo one, made with a sennheiser mkh 416, and ambient ate 308 emesser figure of eight, in a røde blimp with fur cover. I was amazed that the blimp did its job this good in this strong wind.

Using a tumbler glass, i placed my mouth close and started blowing. It sounds like an airoplane far in the sky, or an eerie environment. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Storm wind village sound.

The mysterious echoes of what could only be assumed to be wind produces an overwhelming feeling of loneliness and despair, and an absence of any sort of comfort. As the distant sound reverberates towards your position, only assumptions can be made about it's origin and how truly far away it is.

This was recorded during a harsh storm here i stockholm. Harsh winds blowing thru a small forest. Details such as leaves rustling and hard stormy winds are key components in this recording. It sounds like a storm is approaching what do you think?. I honestly don't remember what i did in post. . . I think i removed alot of bass/rumble, added an expander to remove some unwanted noise to help the winds and leaves to stand out. I probably used rx to clean up some unwanted noises. Equipment:zoom h5 + sony ecm 6080s condenser mic. This was a test to see how the stereo configuration on the ecm 6080s sounded like. I really like it but i would prefer an ab configuration with 2 dpa 2011 or even 2 4060. . . I like the sound it was able to capture even if it may be a little to "centered". I probably will try to use it for my future hiking trips to capture rivers and general ambiances, if i get something special i will upload them here. Hope you like it.

Distant thunderstorm came causing wind and light rain. No sharp sounds, only rain and wind.

The wind and rain is whipping the plastic coverings of a construction site at one house, some things fall down from the scaffold. The rain becomes more and more heavy and loud, the raindrops beat down on the leaves of a chestnut tree and the plastic sheets. Recorded out of the top window of the ground floor with a roland r-05 mounted on a tripod.
